Vintage Afromosia Bookcase by Richard Hornby, UK.

Circa 1950's.

Sold through high-end retailers at the time..Harrods & Heals to name but a few! Hornby's pieces are beautifully made, with great proportions. Elegantly styled in wonderful dark rich afromosia, with the classic Hornby bevelled leading edge, and delicately tapered legs. A very nice thing!

In nice original condition. A few marks/dinks here & there, commensurate with age and use, but generally very good. (More images available.)
