Beech & Ply Stacking Interlocking Chairs by Clive Bacon.
Winners of a Design Council Award in 1963, designed by Clive Bacon for Design Furnishing Contracts Ltd. Made from beech & ply with wonderful 'jigsaw' edges to the legs to allow them to be interlocked. I love the way they're put together, with simple joints, and how the bent ply backs slot into the uprights...everything in full view, nothing hidden...a nice touch.
In good vintage condition, with only minor marks & wear. Frames are all good and solid.
