H269 Armchairs by Jindrich Halabala for UP United Arts, Brno, Czechoslovakia.

Circa 1930's.

A pair of stunning & iconic H269's by one of the most prominent Czech designers. Usually seen with dark arms, these have been stripped back & refinished, giving the wood back it's natural colour...for me, way better than the original! Professionally re-upholstered (and fully fire retardent) in Scion 'Kali' fabrics and looking pretty damn good...even if we say so ourselves!
