Set of Six Vintage Beech 'Straight' Stickback Chairs, by Ronald Ingles for Heals & Son, circa 1954.

Love these chairs...thought about keeping them, but you can't keep everything can you!! Very much in the style of the 'master' George Nakashima's 'straight' chair, they have lovely proportions & great lines.

These have been professionally re-finished in a wonderful flat black, and look stunning. Great quality. All chairs are good & solid, and reassuringly heavy!
