Rosewood "Capella' Armchair by Illum Wikkelso, for Niels Eilersen, Denmark.

The 'Capella' or Model 4...a beautifully simple armchair with some lovely touches. The classic paddle arms with that lovely jointing...so pretty, good proportions too. This is the high-back version, and has been re-upholstered in a stunning vintage tan leather, which gives a nice contrast against the rosewood frame and black leather inserts.

In excellent condition. Frame good and solid with minor marks. Cushions and webbing new!
